It's a very SNUG fitting case made from very beautiful tanned leather. If your Nokia 5.3 is using even a thin protector, it will not fit inside this case. Additionally, even without a protector in the cellphone, it's a very tight fit to get the phone into the case and You'll miss a call trying to get the phone out of the case. It's too tight. I'm going to take it to a shoemaker and see if they can stretch the leather a bit.
