This Veg Tan bovine leather is a great value with many uses.
Full grain leather remnants are ideal for straps, pouches, purses, accessories, and other DIY leather projects.

Leather has a thickness of 1.5-1.6 mm. The sheets has a natural marks and character.
The vegetable tanning process is a long and artisanal one, taking up to two months to complete. Vegetable tanning is an ancient method of preparing animal hides; the word "tan" comes from "tannin," which is the ingredient in vegetable matter that bonds with the proteins in the hide and turns it into leather. Veg-tanning is a labor and time-intensive eco-friendly alternative to chrome tanning.
This gives it a unique rustic, vintage look which ages beautifully over time.
